Interviews!

Hello my beautiful friends.

 

How is life for you all?  It’s 7:32 AM on a summer weekday morning and I am already up and at ‘em.  Why, you ask?  I have an interview!!  It’s at 10am, but it’s a 45 minute drive.  The drive is what makes me hesitant.  But it’s a great school district.  I have another interview Friday, and there’s one more school that wants to set one up with me.  Unfortunately, none of these interviews are in my preferred district.  I may for a year or two end up teaching in a place that is less than ideal, but I think I should be able to tough it out for a year, two tops. 

 

In other news, things are good.  I’m going to the HS group today at church.  I talked to John on the phone yesterday. J  I’m a total dork.  I met him once, and in my mind I start playing out all of these things that could someday end up happening.  I don’t know anything about him, not really, anyway.  He’s funny and very easy to talk/banter with.  He’s going to take me out to coffee to discuss my involvement in the high school group.  Don’t worry—even as I try to hold in the reins on my silly mind, I will behave quite properly and professionally.  Well, as professionally as a HS youth worker ought to!

 

Anyway, loves, I should be getting ready for my day.  If you read this before 10am (I’m guessing Hannah’s the only one that’s likely to do so) pray for me!  If you get it after, pray that both the principal and I make a wise decision!

 

I don’t have the blog open; I’m sending this via email.  I don’t remember what all I still need to reply to.

 

I promise I’m not pregnant.  J  Oh, and I’m already done with jury duty.  I was excused from a case that could have taken 2 mos because I need to use this time to find a job.

 

 Hannah, you and Matt are more than welcome to come and stay the night (already cleared it with the parentals)—just give me a heads up when you know when you’ll be here.

 

Val, how’s it going?  Are you getting along with the familia?  Have you been listening to Rush, lately?  What’s he say about the whole “Imperial Domain” stuff going down?

 

Michelle, you should figure out how to post pictures here and send us some shots from Matt and Charity’s wedding.  Just read the how-to.  You may have to click help to get there, or it may be on the right hand side of the blog somewhere.  I’m glad that it was nice!  Was it as hot as you thought it may be?

 

So, ladies, is the consensus that we go ahead with Christology of the Later Fathers?  Or something else?  Just because I’m already reading Christology doesn’t mean that I’m permanently attached to the idea or anything. J
